How to catch the Viperfish
The Viperfish only comes out at night (20:00 to 5:00 on the in-game clock), and only when the weather turns to Clear or Aurora. Any other time it stays hidden and won't bite.
It's a level 4 catch (hard) with the Elusive fighting style: zones fade in and out; only solid green counts.
Roughly 1 in 500 fish that spawn in the pond is a Viperfish. Worms make fish bite sooner, and rarer fish go for them, so bring some for the hard ones.
Every catch also rolls a random name with a prefix and a suffix, and a rarity tier from Common up to Super Duper Mega Rare, so no two catches are quite the same.
