Community rules
Last updated October 13, 2026
Elderwild is a shared world. Everyone online sees your name, your character and what you say in chat. Keep it a place people want to fish in.
Not allowed
- Harassment and bullying: insulting, threatening, following or ganging up on other players.
- Hate speech: attacking people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or any similar trait.
- Sexual content, and anything sexual involving minors, ever.
- Personal information: sharing your own or anyone else's real name, address, phone number, social accounts or photos.
- Spam and scams: flooding the chat, advertising, links, or trading in-game items for real money.
- Offensive names for characters.
- Cheating: modifying the game or the messages it sends, or exploiting bugs, to get ahead.
- Pretending to be a developer. Only BeefyGames accounts wear the Dev title.
Reporting and blocking
Tap or click a player's name in the chat, or open Players in the pause menu, to report them or block them. Blocking hides what they say from you. Reports go straight to the developers with the player's recent chat. If several players report someone, they're muted automatically until we've looked.
What happens
Depending on how serious it is, we may mute a player's chat, ban them from the online world for a while or for good, or delete their account. The optional bad-language filter in the game's options hides swear words too.
