How to catch the Ribbon Eel
The Ribbon Eel only comes out at dawn and dusk (5:00 to 8:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 on the in-game clock). The rest of the day it hides away and won't bite, so check the clock before you cast.
It's a level 3 catch (tricky) with the Slippery fighting style: near green it may flash purple and dodge back: wait for the next pass.
Roughly 1 in 310 fish that spawn in the pond is a Ribbon Eel. Worms make fish bite sooner, and rarer fish go for them, so bring some for the hard ones.
Every catch also rolls a random name with a prefix and a suffix, and a rarity tier from Common up to Super Duper Mega Rare, so no two catches are quite the same.
