How to catch the Manta Ray

The Manta Ray only comes out by day (7:00 to 18:00 on the in-game clock). The rest of the day it hides away and won't bite, so check the clock before you cast.

It's a level 5 catch (trophy) with the Leaper fighting style: don't strike while it leaps; it tires when it lands.

Roughly 1 in 500 fish that spawn in the pond is a Manta Ray. Worms make fish bite sooner, and rarer fish go for them, so bring some for the hard ones.

Every catch also rolls a random name with a prefix and a suffix, and a rarity tier from Common up to Super Duper Mega Rare, so no two catches are quite the same.
